Pi day!
Today outside of the Wilk there were a ton of games and activities going on in celebration of Pi day! I ended up running into Katelyn and Nicole so we stuck around and enjoyed the lovely weather in-between our classes. Happy 3.14 day (:

May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor.... I've Got a Bunch of Evens!
Now every time I think of the major phrase in the Hunger Games, "May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor" all I can think of is the Olan Rogers video about having a whole bunch of evens. haha That guy has some funny phrases.
Anyway, tonight was the Hunger Games themed dance. 2 weeks ago, everyone in Heritage Halls and Wyview got personal invitations to a "Night at the Capitol". We dressed up, and they Wilkinson Ballroom was completely decked out. The decorations were phenomenal, they seriously had everything. It was actually really cool.
Though the decorations were awesome, and they had food, and fun games to play too, the funnest part was getting ready for it. I just don't really enjoy the dances that much. I last maybe 45 minutes to an hour and then I am just ready to leave. Initially I thought it was just me, because none of my roommates feel that way. But I was talking to Desiree at the dance, and when it ended she basically sang Hallelujah because she had been ready to go an hour after they had gotten their. Then I felt better about wanting to leave (: haha But it was fun to join up with Desiree and her roommate Amy, so it was a little bit of a bigger group.
Sadly, I didn't get pictures of the dance- they had a coat and purse check, so I didn't have my camera with me. But I got PLENTY of pictures before (:

Young Ambassadors Performance
Katelyn and I went to the Young Ambassadors Perfomance, the theme was love. It was so much fun! They are so amazing, the costumes and dances were super awesome and they looked like they were having tons of fun (: They did all these love songs. One that I thought was super funny was a song that two of the guys sing (Maybe I like it even more because I have a condition where guy's voices melt my heart...) they are pretending to be two princes- Cinderella's prince and Rapunzel's prince. It was a funny song, and those men's voices... After the performance Katelyn and I were like, "OH! We want someone to love!" Haha
Definitely a fun activity PLUS with an arts card it was one $2 when normally tickets are $12! So that makes it even more worth it (:

FHE at the Bishop Bridgewater's House!
For FHE tonight we went to Bishop Bridgewater's house. They are really nice, and it was super fun to go! They had tons of stuff to do, while the Bishop went to pick up pizza from Costco.
2 things I learned:
1. Costco makes pretty good pizza
2. I LOVE PING PONG. LOVE IT. Especially around the world, or something like that (it's a group game)
They have a ping pong table, pool table, basketball game thing, and fuse ball table. Not to mention countless board games. So it was fun to chill and play games. Plus, the Bishop and his wife are super awesome! haha (:
Something I learned though, this past year the Bishop and his wife had become "empty nesters" their youngest two are twins, and one is on a mission and one is now in college. They were feeling kind of lonely, and then he was called to be the Bishop of the YSA 46th ward. I thought that was such an awesome story. What a testimony that God knows what we need and is aware of each of us. Just after feeling sort of lonely from having their last 2 kids leave, they get to adopt a whole ward of youth! (:
Anyway, the only picture I got was one of Jackie holding a pet of their son (who is on a mission). The lizard's name is Steve.
