Engaged

So my older sister Whitney is engaged to Courtland Hansen. The only other man on the planet that I've met (other than my brother) with the name Courtland (we say that Heaven's winking at us). She met him here in Oklahoma and they are getting married January 8th in the Oklahoma City temple. He is an awesome guy. And we are VERY excited. But here are some pictures that my mom took of them.

Catching up

It's been quite some time since I've been able to post anything on my blog (you can thank SCHOOL for that!) However today I decided that I REALLY needed to update since SO much has happened that I cannot even sum it up in one post! But the jist of it is, Whitney's engaged. I actually have some TRUE friends, school is lame, I love to sing (and have a concert on Thursday... it's a BIG deal...), My dad is 50, and Christmas is coming!!(: Get ready for the pictures.

Finally I have time to update my blog. A lot has happened over the last couple months. For one thing, school started, the only thing I enjoy about school is choir! But anyway. One of the main things is that my uncle and his wife and daughter moved here because He got a job here, so for a while they lived with us (like a month) because the moving company was well.... not helpful whatsoever! Anyway, Here are a few pictures with them(:

The past 10 days as I said in yesterday's post were spent at my Grandparents 20 acre lot in Minnesota! And here is a summery of some of the things that we did!

For the past 10 days we have been in Minnesota visiting my grandparents who have a beautiful 20 acre lot(which they are trying to sell...) and it was a  GREAT week. The kids really had a great time. But here are some of the siblings on their inflatable slide!(:

swimming!!

So this is the first time we went swimming this summer with the Fam. this summer!(This was the beginning of July) Since then we've gone a couple more times but the water feels great! Especially with the Oklahoma heat(above 100 everyday!) haha. We have some pretty "Fishy" kids. Addie took to swimming very quickly. After Cable was used the water he did great! They BOTH put their heads under the water and would swim, although Addie was more shocking of the two.(: Sooo cute!

He was scared to only have one noodle at first!(:Nice farmers tan Dad(;Look at her! She did that as SOON as she touched the water!!
