Packing... really packing

I have been in denial of packing, but today there is no way out of it. I have to pack, because tomorrow I leave. It is crazy to think this is my last day in Oklahoma. After today nothing will ever be the same. Sounds kind of foreboding right? Maybe a little cliche? Yet it is so very true.

Anyway, here is the mess that has been all over my room all day.

Friends and shtuff

Blake and Kylee "surprised" by coming and we went on an adventure! Since my departure time is coming closer, my stay in Oklahoma is dwindling to a smaller and smaller number.

We went to chipotle and then to see the lights at Rhema. I had never been to see the lights before! It was a super fun night, and we just enjoyed ourselves.

Gingerbread houses

Today we made gingerbread houses. It was fun. Such activities are so uniting to the family. Cable was by far the most meticulous. He spent HOURS on his house, and he took his time as well. Later, people started eating candy off his gingerbread house. He was NOT happy at all about it. He got quiet angry. His gingerbread house was apparently a masterpiece to be admired and not eaten.

Making Cookies

Kylee and I decided to make chocolate chip cookies and give them to people. It was super fun! except  our first batch of cookie was a little brown...

Gabe and the baseball hat

Gabe found my baseball hat that Uncle Steve had given me when I was like 10. He  was having quite a fun time taking it off, and then putting it back on. Looking at himself in the mirror in my room and dancing around until it fell off.

Addie Taps!

Mom got out her old tap shoes, and Addie was SO excited to try them out, especially since they were mom's. Her only comment, "Tap dancing is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be."

Gabe and the Gloves

Gabe LOVED wearing these mittens around, he refused to take them off. What a funny kiddo!

Snow Storm!

Thursday we had the first snow. It was a pretty bad storm, and everything was covered in ice, and then snow fell on top of it. The little guys were SOOOO excited. Thanks to Kori, we got some lovely pictures while we had snow on the ground.
