Roll hard boiled eggs at each other. Whoever had their egg crack first lost.

Easter was a great day. Mom and Dad gave amazing talks at church too. Easter is also a reminder of how if we will remember our Savior, everyday can kinda be like Easter (: For dinner we had about 25 people (maybe more...) It was still really calm and relaxed. Happy Easter!!

Easter eggs!

Today we painted easter eggs. The kids had lots of fun! It's funny how no matter how old you get, dyeing Easter eggs is never something you grow out of!

We colored eggs in groups, so I was with Addie and Cabes.

A dear friend of ours from good old Cincy, is leaving on his mission this Wednesday. He will be serving in the Sydney Australia, Chinese speaking mission!

On his way to the MTC he and his parents stopped by to visit us. It was great to see them and we are all excited and for him!!

Congratulations and good luck Luke! We know you'll be a great missionary!

It's the little moments

I just found some pictures to recap having McCoy into the family. He has been with us for three weeks now!

It actually made me think of this Mormom Message that I love. I couldn't say it better than President Uchtdorf, "We would do well to slow down a little, focus on the significant, lift up our eyes, and truly see the things that matter most."

I was trying a new technique for curling hair for Addie. So after she got out of the bath one night I grabbed some ponytails, divided her hair into for sections, twisted each section and then placed the twists like buns on her head. Like so:

She went to bed with them in her hair and when she woke up I took them out...

(She has bobby pins in)

It actually turned out really cute! I have made a few notes: When doing the sections just divide them to the sides, not the back. Also Make sure the twist is equal on each side of her head.

Elephant Outfit

Mom and I got Whitney an outfit for McCoy as a Christmas present. However, when Whitney tried to put it on him today, she couldn't even button the the snaps on the shirt.

It brought back memories of wondering what he was going to look like, and when he would come.

She finished putting it on him just so we could take some pictures, then promptly took it off, because it really was too small. Boy was he cute in it though!

Blowing bubbles

When Easton blows, on anything: food, birthday candles, or in this case, bubbles, he always sucks in really loudly and then blows. It is one of the funniest things. So I took a couple of videos.

They are definitely worth watching (:
