Homework outside...

Today was a wonderfully day, sunny and warm so Nicole and I decided to do our homework outside. That lasted for a couple hours, then she started doing poses.

Mountain Rim Gymnastic Championships

Katelyn, Nicole and I went to the Gymnastic Championships in the Marriott Center. They were super fun to watch! We basically were in the very front. It was super awesome (:

Of course I happen to capture maybe the only fall on the uneven bars (this is University of Denver)

C2G Glow 5K

First 5K ever, complete success. It was super fun! I loved it (: Totally worth it! At the end of the race you ran into this big open room that was pitch black except for all the glow sticks on the floor and the ones you were wearing that they have given you to run with. In the room there were tables with fruit and water as well.

Post 5K

Pre 5K Carbs!

In "preparation" for our 5K we decided to make pasta and eat it a couple ours before the race to get a load of carbs!

HOW DOES SHE DO IT? I can't I have tried and failed... miserably. Nicole, this is one of the coolest sounds ever.

When you try to to homework while sitting next to your roommates...

Elephant Toothpaste!

That moment when you have a Chemical Engineer for a roommate and they love to do all these different experiments.... tonight was elephant toothpaste...

If you look up Elephant toothpaste online, you can get some super awesome videos! Our's didn't really foam very high because she didn't have a high enough concentration of hydrogen peroxide.

We used colored soap instead of white trying to change the color.

Ward Bowling!

Today we have a ward bowling activity. It was pretty fun. Nicole and I had brought our Ukulele's in case we were able to go to the Recording Booth, but it never happened. Instead we just messed around with them in-between our turn to bowl! It was a really fun activity (:
