Bye Kylee!

Tonight was my last night with Kylee before she left for Utah to stay with her Dad for the Summer! It was definitely a wonderful night and I am glad I was able to spend one more evening with her (:

Dancing with Easton

Easton was kinda grumpy, so I took him in my room and picked him up to dance. He loved it! He loves to move, dance, spin (more than I would like...) and jump. It was quite a party.

Crayon Project

Today Kylee and I bought canvas crayons and got to work. We had decided to make some crayon art, it was really fun to do! We also got really good at taking the paper off of crayons, so if you ever need a good crayon-paper-remover just give me a call (; Cable and Addie loved watching the crayons melt.

Overal a great project that I want to try again (especially since the outcome was a little different than expected...

Mine

I went for a different melting crayon technique, it was cool to try something different the result was more Picasso than I was expecting. It still looked cool and matched my room perfectly. Plus the melt crayon was really soft when you touched it.

Dollar Tree with Addie!

Today I took Addie the Dollar Tree. She needed some time, since Whit had to run an errand right near the Dollar Tree mom suggested that I go with Addie. It was a smart idea, and Addie loved that it was just me and her.

She had a lot of fun. We looked at all the toys in the store. Within 5 minutes of being there she had decided she wanted a harmonica. I showed her other really cool toys, but she never wavered. So we got the harmonica!

Since coming home, it's sound has been heard all over the house.

Not the mixer!

On Saturday while mom was mixing up some bread dough, her mixer started making a really weird sound! It sounded like one of the gears (or more than one) wasn't working correctly.

Thankfully it stopped working just as she was finished mixing her bread dough.

Today, Court and Caden took out the bottom to see what the problem was and if they could fix it without having to order a part. They weren't very fortunate. The main gear is very broken, they aren't even sure if you can order that specific part. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

10 day old Noah!!

Kori took some pictures of Noah, he is SO adorable. I cannot believe he has already been here for more than a week!

Getting shoes for Easton

Easton's shoes were too small, so finally Whit decided it was time for some new ones!

Upon arriving at Payless, there were these cute pair of loafers that I pulled out, while Whitney pulled out a few different pairs of sandals. As soon as Easton got one of the loafers on his feet. He got really excited and started to point and smile, he then got up, with only one shoe on and began walking up and down the store.

Once he came back Whit asked if he would try another shoe. We were met with much disagreement. She tried to put another shoe on him and he just burst into tears and pointed at the loafers says "Shoes, shoes!" He wouldn't let us put any other shoes on his feet. So we bought him the loafers.

Through out the rest of the errands we ran, he would randomly look at his feet, or kick them, point his toes, and jump in his new shoes.

When we got home he showed everyone his shoes and didn't want us to take them off!

This mother's day was really neat! Rather than having one mother in the house we had 4; Mom, Kori (who just had Noah), Whitney, and Toni (Kori's mom who is visiting.

It is amazing to see how natural a role it is to be a mother. That doesn't mean it is easy, but I can only imagine how amazing it must feel!

Bristow with Kylee!

Today, I went with Kylee and her family, to Bristow. It's a little town about 40 minutes away, where her stepdad owns a TON of land.

First we went to the Tabbouleh Festival, and then went to his land to ride horses, dirt bike, and drive the four-wheeler.

It was a fun day and we get SUPER sunburnt!!
