After that, Katelyn had to pack because she was leaving (in like 30 minutes) to go to her grandparents house for her Uncle's wedding on Saturday. Jackie, Nicole and I scooted their beds together, made some popcorn and watched the Princess Bride. Nicole hadn't seen it, and it is just a classic, light-hearted, enjoyable movie. The evening was a success

Friday Nights
There is always tons of stuff going on during the weekend. People are ready to have a break from classes and stuff! Anyway, we decided to go to this progressive dinner that started in the JFSB, at first there was a huge line, but it went really fast. At the JFSB there was pizza, then you could get on a bus (a mini Hagrid) and go to two places: the Museum of cultures and people, where you could get drinks, and the museum of paleontology where you would get appetizers. Then you would come back to the JFSB and eat dessert and there was a live animal show (but we didn't watch it). It was really fun, and who doesn't like free food? Plus the pizza they had was Papa Johns, which is pretty much my fave.

The Deed has Been Done.
I finally worked up the courage to cut my bangs! They actually turned out pretty well, so that is nice. The problem with bangs is, there is no going back, once you cut, it stays. I guess I had been talking about the fact that I need to cut my bangs quite frequently, because when I finally pulled out the scissors and stood in front of the mirror Nicole was like, "Oh, you're finally cutting your bangs!"

Oh BYU
These guys showed up on campus this afternoon with some music and very interesting dance moves. It was pretty hilarious actually! They started dancing and then a group of kids joined in- it was a flashmob. Only at BYU...

Temple!
Apparently Jackie and Nicole have a goal to go to the temple every Monday morning before classes. Since I finally got my temple recommend I have decided to go with them (and whenever Katelyn wants to as well). It was wonderful! It felt like it had been a while since I had been to the temple and so I was excited to be there.
The set up is really different from the OKC temple, so it was neat to see and look at what was different about it. It is amazing how going to the temple can help you find your center, and I cannot wait to go next Monday!

Ward Tubing!
Today was our ward (46th YSA Ward) tubing trip. We went to Soldiers Hollow, which is about 30 minutes away from BYU. It was tons of fun!
After grabbing our tubes we rode up the rope to the top and connected to each other's tubes like a caterpillar we went down! There are six different slopes, all varying depending on how gutsy you are feeling.
We only went down twice with just the three of us (Katelyn, Nicole, and I) the rest of the times we went as big groups! Someone wanted to try and break the record for the most people to go down connected. The first time we had 57, once we started getting speed though, some of the tubes flipped and we were split in half. It was super awesome though! The last time, it got up to like 64. But it did break again. It was a complete blast!
We took a video for the first time we went down, but when you go in a big group, you are going to fast, and holding the other person's tube requires both hands because it gets too heavy, so there are no videos from the group ones.

Vocal Point, Ice Skating, and Nerd Dance
As roommates we went to a Vocal Point Concert, it was super awesome, they were amazing and it was a really fun thing to do! There is just something so awesome about an all-male singing group, not to mention the fact that they sing a cappella!
A little while later we decided that we would go ice skating! So off we went. It was fun, the ice skating rink was really crowded. That didn't stop Katelyn from skating backwards, Nicole from trying to spin, and me from falling... and falling... it was super fun nonetheless!
After we got from ice skating, we remember that there was a nerd dance going on, so quickly we grabbed a snack changed our clothes and headed over there. It was a super small dance, but really fun (:
Overall a very enjoyable and rather eventful day!
