First "Official" Swimming trip

So the same day we painted the deck we went swimming and It was our first "Official" swimming trip of the year. When we got to the pool we had forgotten Addie's swimsuit so we drove to a 'Childrens place' that was really close and bought her another. It was quite adventurous but fun. Here's the adventure... Deck painting!!!! YAY....

A couple of days ago (week or so...) Mom dragged the older ones (Mick(me) on up) outside and we had to paint the deck. Travis and Caden helped with the prepping but when painting came it was us. It was hot but we got it done. Now it's onto the inside!(YIKES!)

So we went to the park a few weeks ago, and here's what we got from that!

Missionary call!

a week and two days ago Courtland got his mission call. Caden was running through the house bellowing "HE GOT THE MAIL AND HIS MISSION CALL! IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!!!!" We all gathered in the dining area as he opened the small package. He got the passports first. And Mom was all excited when he started to read the letter Dear Elder Lykins... He has been called to Argentine, Resistencia mission. He is due into the MTC September 2nd and his B-day is July 28th so that gives him an extra month to earn more money. So here are some pictures.

Birds nest

Okay, right next to our front door on top of one of the lights is a bird nest. And just recently innocent lil' baby birds hatched. So I only have like two pictures where you can sort of see the birds but here it is.

First sprinkler day!

Afraid are we? 


Okay so Monday at about 3 the kids decided to play a sprinkler that happened to be laying around. And so the kids ran and got their bathing suites on and were playing. Even though it was a little windy.
