Cute!!!! :-)

Okay, So just a few days ago I was outside and Addie comes up to me and asks earnestly, "Mick!!!! Where's Sadie?"
I lick my lips and look at her seriously, " Addie, Sadie's gone, she died."
Addie doesn't get what I'm saying and replies, "Maybe she's in the garage!" And races off. But Cable on the other hand understands and questions, "Then where's her body?" Almost instantly he answers his own question, "Wait, I KNOW!!! It's in Heaven." Then he begins playing with chalk again. I thought it was REALLY cute that Cable a 4 1/2 year old could make that connection. And I just had to share it. :-)

I remember when I first was learning to ride a bike, and I kept telling my Dad don't let go don't let go. Well, Here's a father who let his kid slide!

Sadness....

Well July 28th The day of Courtland's birthday, Our dog was run over by a car. After having been with us for about 8 1/2 years she died, but it wasn't painful, she died almost instantly. She was a small shelty, I'd show you a picture but I don't have one. So, Good-bye Sadie!

MTC Year....

Well, Today is court's birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Courtland, and, he's 19 which means it's time to serve a 2 year mission. He leaves for the MTC September 2nd and it's coming up fast!

Nauvoo temple trip!! (while at Nauvoo!)

I forgot to post that we got to go the the Nauvoo Temple, It's always been my favorite temple. But being able to go inside makes everything better! And something special happened, Courtland my older brother was able to confirm and baptize for the first time! It was an amazing experience!!

Okay, if anybody has been wondering where I've been the past 2 weeks it's been on vacation. We left Tuesday July 7th, the Illinois where we visited Carthage and explored Nauvoo. The Friday July 10th we went to Minnesota to visit my Grandparents(which we were also there for my Uncles wedding.) Here's pictures of Carthage and Nauvoo!
